The release is intentionally focused: choose nearby content, choose the nearby device, approve, and send.

The handoff

    Nearby discovery

    Find devices on the same Wi-Fi network or hotspot. No account, no pairing.

  2. 02

    Anything you would send

    Files, folders, photos, video, audio, and text, between Windows and Android.

  3. 03

    Approved and encrypted

    Nothing saves until the receiver accepts. The route is TLS encrypted, and existing files are never overwritten.

    Lives in the tray

    Closing the window keeps TranSend ready to receive. It can also start when you sign in.

  2. 02

    Notifications

    Requests pop up with Accept and Decline, and the taskbar shows transfer progress.

  3. 03

    One-click updates

    A new version downloads inside the app; Restart installs it and opens TranSend again.

    Requests drop down

    Accept or decline straight from the notification, without opening the app.

    Progress follows you

    Speed, time left, and Cancel stay in your notifications while you use other apps.

    Stay ready to receive

    Keep receiving while TranSend is in the background, when you turn it on in Settings.

Windows installer

Unknown publisher can appear.

TranSend 1.0.0 is not code-signed yet. Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may show a warning on first install. Continue only when the installer came directly from transendapp.org.
